To provide top-level assistance to the Executive Director of the organization. To establish and maintain organization and structure within the calendaring of events and meetings, to support the ED in communications and correspondence to internal and external entities, and to follow-up on decisions made to ensure accountability and action
Executive Director’s current workload is reduced by 30%, through efficient organization and structuring of calendar and correspondence. Information to the ED is filtered and organized, allowing greater focus on the high-impact deliverables. ED agenda is organized and maintained, with preparation for meetings completed and communicated to the ED in advance, and follow-up on all action items. Documents in English or Spanish which need to be developed are drafted to 90% completion, with final revision and sign-off by the ED. 80% of email and phone correspondence are handled by the Executive Assistant (in consultation with the ED), and 20% are dealt with directly by the ED. Relevant files are stored, organized, and managed by the Executive Assistant.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
